WiFi Requirements

A WiFi signal has to meet a certain set of requirements in order to connect the frame.

Here Is a Short List of the Most Common WiFi Requirements:

  • WiFi needs to use the 2.4 GHz network band
  • WiFi needs to use IPv4 addresses (IPv6 is not supported)
  • WiFi can't be hidden
  • WiFi can't use WPA3 or Enterprise encryption

If your WiFi does not meet the requirements, or if you are in doubt, please get in touch with your Internet Service Provider. They are usually able to check and make changes to the WiFi very quickly.
