Is My Frame Online?

Modified on: Wed, 16 Oct, 2024 at 8:31 AM

Even if the frame is connected to a WiFi, the frame might not necessarily have a connection to the internet in which case your frame will appear offline from connected phones.

This mostly happens if your WiFi uses certain settings which the frame does not support, or if the network equipment simply needs to be rebooted.

Here's a guide to check if your frame is online and connected to the internet:

  1. Open the Settings on your frame
  2. Go to the Wi-Fi submenu
  3. Check the Connection status

If the Connection status says "Connected" as shown on the photo above, your frame is online and good to go!

If instead the Connection status says "Unknown" or "No internet", there might be a need for rebooting your network equipment and your frame and wait 10 minutes.

If rebooting the network equipment and the frame does not help change the connection status to "Connected", please have a look at this article: Wi-Fi and Connection Problems
